[ARCHIVED] (Updated Feb 10th) Covid-19 Vaccine Information for Residents 75 and Older

info-phone-contact-information

Town staff continues to confirm telephone contact information for residents 75 and older. If you have already called and updated information, you do not need to call again.

Any resident in this age category, who has not already confirmed a contact phone number with the Town, can call the senior Center at 401-789-0268.  Staff will be answering calls as quickly as possible and the public is asked for their patience.  Callers may leave a voice message with their name, address, date of birth and phone number. Staff will return every call and confirm updated information.  Those who leave a voice message are asked to be patient as It may take up to five days before receiving a return call.

Beginning February 17th, the Department of Health will be distributing 210 vaccine doses a week to South Kingstown, for senior residents; and this will continue for the next four weeks.   Staff has begun making calls to schedule appointments, starting with the oldest members of the community first.

The Department of Health has announced that private pharmacies such as Walgreens and CVS have also begun to schedule appointments for the 75 plus population; and soon the State will be opening up vaccination centers for additional appointments.  Residents are encouraged to try scheduling an appointment through these options as well.   It does not matter how or where you get an appointment providing it is a location in Rhode Island.

To ensure that those over 75 are served as quickly as possible, we ask that those not in this age category not leave their information at this time.
