[ARCHIVED] Governor moves Presidential Preference Primary to June 2

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Governor issued an Executive Order on March 23rd, 2020 to delay the Presidential Preference Primary from April 28th, 2020 to JUNE 2nd, 2020 and to prepare for a predominantly mail ballot election.  For further detail, the Executive Order and Press Release are linked below.  

The deadline to register to vote will be 30 days prior to the election. Mail Ballot Applications are available online at https://vote.sos.ri.gov/Content/Pdfs/Calendar/PPP-MailBallot.pdf The deadline to submit applications will be announced later this week.   Please contact the Town Clerk’s Office with any questions, (401) 789-9331 x1236.
