On November 14th, the Planning Board held a public hearing on the draft Comprehensive Community Plan, and voted to extend the written comment period on the draft through Tuesday December 17th at 4:30 pm. To view a recording of the November 14th public hearing please click here. 

Interested person are invited to submit written comments relative to the 2019 Comprehensive Community Plan directly to the Planning Department, 180 High Street, Wakefield, RI, or electronically to Kaela Gray at kgray@southkingstownri.com.  The draft Comprehensive Community Plan is available by clicking here. Hard copies of the draft Plan can also be found by visiting the South Kingstown Planning Department, Town Clerk's Office, Peace Dale Library, Kingston Library, Hale Library, or the Senior Center.
