The Sustainability Committee is hosting its 2nd annual Sustainability Forum on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 6pm at the Recreation Center.  The 2018 Sustainability Forum will showcase local leaders who've had success with school recycling, residential composting, and zero-waste living. Attendees will also learn about the recently passed "Plastic Reduction Ordinance" in advance of its implementation in January 2019 and hear from the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation on large-scale waste management in Rhode Island.  The Sustainability Committee hopes to build upon recent successes to set attainable goals for the future of South Kingstown and invites ALL of those interested to attend the forum to help contribute to a Sustainable SK!
