[ARCHIVED] Outdoor Water Use Ban

In response to recent dry conditions and heavy consumer demand, SUEZ Water RI and the Town of South Kingstown have announced a ban on outdoor water use for SUEZ Water RI and the Town's South Shore & Middlebridge water system customers (these restrictions do not affect the Kingston Water District).

Effective immediately (7/22/16), a mandatory ban is in effect on ALL outdoor water use WEEKENDS from 6 p.m. Friday through midnight Sunday until further notice.

In addition, on WEEKDAYS each water utility is imposing an outdoor water use ban on ALTERNATE ODD/EVEN DAYS. Customers with an odd number street address may water only on odd number weekdays, while customers with an even number street address may water only on even number weekdays.

Thank you for your cooperation as we seek to ensure sufficient supply to meet customer needs. In addition, water customers are encouraged to use water wisely. Please call the Water Division office at (401) 789-9331 ext 2250 if you have any questions.
