Join us with Town officials and invited guests at Peace Dale Library on Saturday, June 10, 1 PM, as the stone Watering Trough Fountain is officially welcomed to its new location on the front lawn. This is the fountain’s 3rd location--it was originally installed (1890) in what is now the traffic island between the Library and the Peace Dale Office Building, and then moved in 1950 to a spot at the west end of the Library grounds. In advance of the recent guard rail installation on Kingstown Road, it was brought in 2016 to where you see it today.
