July 6th and 7th - Main Street parking & Comfort Station parking lot - Decorative Light LED Conversion Project

The Town’s LED lighting contractor (SIEMENS) will be retro-fitting the decorative, inverted acorn lights on Main Street and the Comfort Station parking lot from HPS to LED lamps on Wednesday, July 6th and Thursday, July 7th    - Parking spaces will be coned off at 5 AM each day to ensure the lighting contractor will have bucket truck access to the lights.   The contractor will be starting at 6 AM in an effort to get as much work done as possible before the prime parking period along Main Street occurs.  The contractor will be removing cones as the work progresses in order to reopen parking as soon as possible.

The work schedule is a follows:

 Wednesday, July 6th – East Side of Main Street & Comfort Station parking lot

 Thursday, July 7th – West Side of Main Street

 Note: These parking restrictions are limited to the downtown area where the decorative streetlights are located.
