Images of The Weaver sculpture by Daniel Chester French on the grounds of Peace Dale Library. Included are the earliest known photograph of The Weaver in place, c.1920, by Dexter W. Hoxie, and a series taken in 2002 by Joseph McGovern, shortly after the sculpture's conservation that year.

Hoxie This collection contains images captured in and around Peace Dale, RI, c. 1900-1925, that are known or believed to have been taken by Dexter W. Hoxie (1864-1943). Hoxie served as a personal secretary to the Hazard family for many years. His work includes photographs of members of the family and their homes, as well as village images.
