The Tax Collector completes any requests for a Municipal Lien Certificate, a form that may be printed and used by an Attorney and/or Title Searcher to acquire information in accordance with Rhode Island General Laws §44-7-11, in order to prepare for a sale or refinance closing of real estate.
A check for $25.00 and a self-addressed, stamped envelope is required to accompany each Municipal Lien Certificate request.
