The Town of South Kingstown may be eligible for State or Federal support through the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) or the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) based on the impact a storm may have on our community. The Town of South Kingstown asks private residents and businesses to report storm related damage, through our online reporting form. Based on the information collected, FEMA teams may review private citizen damage assessments and determine if the damages may qualify for federal assistance.
First, you must report damage sustained during a storm. Your information will be provided to RIEMA and assessed. Reporting your damage does not guarantee assistance. Residents are encouraged to make insurance claims first to show that all other resources have been exhausted.
