Welcome to the South Kingstown Parks and Recreation Department website! The department was created in 1939 to provide parks and recreation programs and services for our town.

We offer over 1,000 recreation programs and classes annually for all ages and interests. We manage the Neighborhood Guild community center, Peace Dale Office Building, Stepping Stone Preschool, and extensive park system, William C. O'Neil Bike Path, Town Beach, and the Old Mountain Field in-line skating facility and skateboard park.

Approximately 67% of our annual operating budget is generated by program fees, facility operations, trust funds, and grants / donations. The remainder of our budget is provided by local tax support.

Please contact our office at 789-9301 if we can be of further assistance.
