Requests for Bids and Proposals
The Town’s current active requests for bids and proposals are shown within this section and include the advertisement for bids, submission deadlines, bid opening information and instructions on how to obtain specifications.
The Town of South Kingstown will accept sealed bids for the following to be filed with the Town Manager's Office, Town of South Kingstown, 180 High Street, Wakefield, RI 02879, by 11:30 A.M., Friday, January 8, 2010, at which time they will be opened publicly:
SEALED BID - 9000 GVW PICKUP TRUCK WITH SNOWPLOW (WASTEWATER DIVISION)
AND
SEALED BID - 5300 GVW MID-SIZE PICKUP TRUCK (WATER DIVISION).
Specifications are available in the office of the Director of Public Services. Questions may be directed to 789-9331 ext. 2250.
The right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof is hereby reserved. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the above noted proper title endorsed thereon; and addressed and delivered to the Town Manager's Office, 180 High Street, Wakefield, RI 02879.
Bid will be awarded to the lowest, qualified bidder. Bidder must show evidence that their equipment meets or exceeds the specifications.
Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must call 401-792-9642 (TDD), or 401-789-9331 at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the bid opening date.
DISCLAIMER: It is the vendor's responsibility to verify if any addendums have been issued for their bid. The Town of South Kingstown will not be held responsible for incomplete bid submissions.
