Old Mountain Field is South Kingstown's oldest park. The park was dedicated in 1938 and served as the primary outdoor recreational area for the Town of South Kingstown until Town Farm Park was constructed in 1953. Old Mountain Field also serves the Town's "urban" park with many participants walking to and from the park.
The park contains lit baseball and softball fields, two lit tennis courts, two un-lit tennis courts, in-line skating facility, skateboard part, lit basketball courts, trails, concession stand, restroom building, and small pond.
Adopted by the Lavender Thumbs Garden Club.

Directions
From Points West
- Route I 95 to Exit 3 East
- Take Route 138 East 11 miles to Route 108
- Take Route 108 South 2 miles
- Library will be on your left
- Follow Route 108 approximately one half mile and Old Mountain Field is on your left
From Points North
- Route I 95 South to Exit 9 which will be Route 4 (left hand exit)
- Route 4 will merge and become Route 1
- Exit at the Wakefield / Peace Dale exit
- At the end of the exit take a right hand turn
- Proceed to Route 108 intersection (approximately .5 miles)
- Follow 108 approximately one half mile and OMF will be on your right
From Points South
- Take I 95 North to Exit 92, right at end of exit
- Follow this road until you see Route 78 on your right (about 1 mile)
- Take Route 78 to the end, take a left hand turn onto Route 1 (you will see Stop & Shop to your left)
- Follow Route 1 for about 30 minutes until you see sign for Wakefield Exit
- Exit at the Wakefield / Peace Dale exit
- At the end of the exit take a right hand turn
- Proceed to Route 108 intersection (approximately .5 miles)
- Follow 108 approximately one half mile and OMF will be on your right
